Faculty Academic Development Program
Early-career members continue to need support in several areas including orienting to career opportunities, conducting clinical and basic research, navigating their clinical skills, integrating and developing technology into their teaching experience, and developing professional networks. Under this platform, WHF aims to provide resources and tools to facilitate faculty development.
Early Career Member Section Mentoring Program
The WHF is launching a year-long structured mentoring program to provide one to one support for early career members. The intention is to facilitate a meaningful relationship focused to key areas of growth for the mentee.
Eligibility criteria: Current trainee in a clinical fellowship program or early career physician within 5 years of practice in USA.
For those interested in participating, WHF will match a select cadre of early career professionals to select mentors within. After the match, mentees will reach out to their mentors to set virtual meetings every 2 months.
Please submit your application including a brief CV and personal statement (250 words) no later than October 15th, 2020. Assignments will be announced on December 1st, 2020.
